So many Ma's.....

It all started in a used bookstore, when I opened up Beowulf and saw the word:  brave.

War on Beowulf!  With a handmade book, all the pages had to be detached from their spines.

I found the fabulous artist, John Clark, on Etsy and commissioned an illustration of my grandmother. When I pitched it as the cover, my editor, said YES!

And this book became something so much bigger.
